A nice looking, professional and clean shop. I stopped by without an appointment to have my brakes checked out since they make noise in mornings and they did a free inspection on my Mustang to let me know what else it might need. Turned out the brakes did not need to be replaced at all and they just needed some new hardware that was rubbing. I didn't think that with such low mileage my car would need anything but they showed me and gave some ideas on service by mileage and also what to look for coming up with my car. It is nice to find a shop that treats you like a person/customer and not a dollar sign$$$$.
Friendly, professional knowledgeable mechanics. It's really hard to find mechanics that can or will work on my classic convertible Jaguar. My local mechanic referred me to them for a repair he was not able to do. Their diagnostics were very thorough and they explained everything to me without being pushy about needed repairs. I felt very confident leaving my car with them. My car was repaired quicker than I expected and they backed up their work with a great warranty. I will definitely bring my cars here in the future.
I can’t sing their praises enough! I used to take my BMW to their Lewisville location. Then I got a newer vehicle that was under warranty - until now. A service light came on so they checked diagnostics and a courtesy inspection to determine what actually needed to be done. The dealership gave me a long list of items totaling over $1400 even with very low mileage on the car. Due to that low mileage, Fifth Gear said I wasn’t needing any of that work done. They gave me a ride home when I dropped it off, did their inspection, provided a report, washed and cleaned my car and handed me the keys. Absolutely no charge whatsoever!!! Not a penny!!! I am still so impressed with them. This new location in Argyle is only 10 minutes from my home so it is very convenient. I recommend them to anyone needing work done whether domestic or import. I trust them and will continue to visit them as needed! Thank you for your exceptional devotion to customer service and not recommending unnecessary repairs.
Often times the stress of auto repair is not the actual repair but the need to find someone to trust. My experience with James and the crew was stellar. He went above and beyond to assist me with my vehicle. He was honest, sincere and genuinely interested in helping me. So much so he recommended me to go to the dealership to place a warranty claim. Despite the fact I did not get a repair done this trip, Fifth Gear has certainly gained a customer for my future needs. I most definitely would recommend them for all your repair needs.
